EMJAE'S ARRIVAL!

After 18 hours of labor... and NO progress. I went under for a c-section for my little beauty queen to arrive! Lucky me she showed up on my birthday! May 24, 2011 at 11:07 am, weighing 7lb 2 oz and 21 inches long! Defiantly the BEST birthday gift I could have asked for!

She came out of the womb wearing JUCIY!

Its A Hoot!

It all started with a crazy idea and turned into a MASTERPIECE! Aaron is not only the smartest, and most handsome guy... he is also a very gifted artist! I asked for a simple drawing of an owl for Emjae's room and ended up with a floor to ceiling hand painted mural.

Once my mom saw the mural... she thought of using "It's a Hoot" for Emjae's bedding. She is also a VERY talented artist. She made the bumped pads, quilt, fitted sheets and more!

Emjae is ONE LUCKY LITTLE GIRL!

Pregnancy, the good the bad and the ugly

Here is the progress of my growing belly! Emjae waited the 40 weeks PLUS! Her due date was May 21, 2011 and she deiced to wait until May 24, 2011 and share her special day with her mamma! Next year should be fun... she'll turn one on my Dirty 30!

The GOOD:

Everything was good! I LOVED being pregnant and for the most part had nothing to complain about. Except towards the end. It was getting hard to breath, sit, stand, sleep, eat... you name it it seemed impossible to do.

The BAD:

HEARTBURN!

The UGLY:

There is NOTHING UGLY about it. Made it 40+ weeks stretch mark FREE! Thank GOD!

Updates

Well apparently I am REALLY BAD at blogging!! I always promise to update it... but NEVER seem to find the time. So I am NOT making any promises this time. But I do want to update everyone on Emjae's life and ours.
